The trial of a mysterious actress takes the form of an increasingly implausible.
The theater director Thomas (Mathieu Amalric), after hearing a long desperate and pathetic. He worked on an adaptation of Venus in furs, a classic novel written in 1840 by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, and can not find a suitable main actress. He was irritated by all modern women who text not "realistic enough" and do not realize that this part is so beautiful because it's artificiality. However, half an hour after auditioning more, mysterious Vanda (Emmanuelle Seigner) theater steps. He was not listed for hearing, it is very vulgar and seems mainly to have experience in the world of porn. Thomas actually prefer to go home, but Vanda was so persistent that left the audition still do. Thomas was deeply impressed and decided to take the entire manuscript with him. Vanda began more and more control over the bill Thomas and reclaim your life.

theater
Venus Fur directed by Roman Polanski, based on a play by David Ives. That means this is the second adaptation to play in a row Polanski. However, this is far more interesting than the film in 2011 is Carnage. It is a very special movie nice, but not in a particular pleasure to experience an incredible cast and dialogue. It has Venus In Fur too, though here the player even smaller than in the massacre. Amalric and Seigner, Polanski's wife, are the only two actors that we see in the film. The pity is that most of us will need to understand the Dutch translation of the dialogue. Even for those who do not speak French is clear that the script has a lot of fun with the nuances of the French language. However, that certainly should not be a reason not to watch the movie.

Fiction and reality
Polanski plays a very friendly way, with the boundary between fiction and reality. While Thomas and Vanda took the script, the relationship between their characters in the play began to look more like a relationship that is actually growing. This is a problem for Thomas as his script about a man who, as sadomasochistic, willing to submit to a woman. Vanda also want to know more about writing and life Thomas is possible. Could it be a coincidence that has the same name as the character in the script? He gets in any case, like his character in the piece, Thomas is getting in his power. Here Polanski plays with fiction and reality if not maintained. What we find, for example, the fact that the name Thomas Novachek, and that his character in the Severin von Hot Kusiemski? Can we establish a relationship between Thomas and Polanski? The movie shows at least many of the same features that piece Thomas. This is a very stylish movie contrived, where dialogue is certainly not realistic. And while hearing more and more absurd is that the change in tone of the film Polanski. What started as a comic drama about theater, is now starting to show more and more elements of terror.

different interpretations
Roman Polanski should at least have a tumultuous life. Many moviegoers believe, therefore, often seen in movie scenes and pictures that represent certain events in your life. Venus In Fur Polanski has deliberately used the time. For example, the film is full of references to previous films Polanski and annoyed when Thomas Vanda think some scenes Part of Thomas refer back to your life. This scene Polanski does not include just aimlessly. Venus in Fur is also about how we all have different interpretations of a work of art and how we can all give a different meaning to it. Because that's what makes Vanda when he took over the part of Thomas. Although the main male character in the present work that women want is part Vanda Thomas still sexist. His character is the fact it's good to have a relationship and therefore forced by humans. Vanda edited the work themselves, according to his feminist fashion, without greatly changing the content.

conclusion
With Venus In Fur Polanski again showed his penchant for the absurd. In this film becomes very strong, playing with a lot of confidence to the boundary between fiction and reality. Everyone will interpret the events in this film in its own way and that's the point I'm going to do Polanski.
